Beneath us travels an ever growing maze of underground utilities. This underground substratum is fundamental to our way of life, invariably supplying electricity, communications, natural gas, water and sewer. Disruption of these vital underground facilities could affect the safety and health of the public and negatively impact our environment and economy. Whether you are a contract excavator, facility operator or a homeowner, guaranteeing the safety of those who live or work near underground utilities is everyone's responsibility.
We are committed to becoming an industry leader in underground damage prevention by providing efficient, affordable and reliable location of underground facilities to excavators, facility owners and the general public prior to excavation in the interest of promoting a safe work environment.

HOW CAN I FIND MY SEPTIC? Contact the State Health Department office in your county or city. Drawings with detailed measurements are required to be on file for new homes and there may be records available for older homes.
A metal detector may be of assistance in finding the septic tank since most concrete septic tanks contain metal reinforcing rods or other metal parts. The septic tank is usually not buried any deeper than 2 to 3 feet. If you have a leach field, you can often see evidence of it because the grass is frequently greener above that area. This is because of the nitrogen in the wastewater.
